Welcome! I am so glad you are here. I’m Melissa Pelletier, a licensed esthetician in Central MA, located at Wish Electrolysis and Laser Center in Fitchburg, MA.

For over 28 years, I worked as a clinical social worker and therapist, supporting individuals through stress, transition, and healing with empathy, skill, and deep understanding. Helping others navigate life’s challenges has always been at the core of who I am. You can still find me working part time at Mass General Hospital at the Home Base Program for Active Duty Service Members, Veterans and Families.

At the same time, I carried a lifelong dream of becoming an esthetician. Decade after decade, I would return to that dream—and each time, I set it aside, waiting for the “right” moment. In the past decade I told myself it was too late, I am too old to start over. I noticed that this little voice got quieter over the past couple of years and I thought seriously about how to transition from a full time employee to part time and go back to school.

In late 2024, after experiencing burnout, I knew it was time to honor that calling and begin a new chapter. I enrolled at the Catherine Hinds Institute of Esthetics in January of 2025, stepping into a path that beautifully bridges my background in emotional wellness with my passion for skin health and esthetics. I am now a graduate of Catherine Hinds and a licensed esthetician serving clients in Fitchburg, MA and surrounding Central Massachusetts communities.

My approach combines relaxation through intentional massage, education about the why behind your skin concerns, and customized facials to help clients you maintain healthy and resilient skin. Rather than jumping straight to aggressive treatments, I focus on strengthening the skin barrier, reducing inflammation, and creating a foundation for lasting results. My goal is to meet you where you are, support you through every stage of your skin journey, and help you feel confident in your skin.
