Microneedling or Collagen Induction Therapy, is an advanced skin-rejuvenation treatment designed to improve overall skin tone, texture, and firmness. Using a device with ultra-fine, sterile needles, controlled micro-injuries are created in the skin to stimulate the body’s natural healing response. This process encourages the production of collagen and elastin, the building blocks of healthy, youthful skin. As the skin repairs itself, it becomes smoother, firmer, and more radiant over time. Reduces the appearance of acne scars and other textural irregularities, improves skin tone, ffectively reduces melasma and hormone-driven hyperpigmentation — a common concern for women in perimenopause and menopause whose estrogen fluctuations make pigment cells more reactive and dark spots harder to shift with topical treatments alone.
A series of monthly treatments is recommended for 3-6+ months for optimal results.

Because the skin is in a highly active, regenerative state immediately following treatment, the post-care period is just as important as the procedure itself. During this time, the skin is focused on initiating repair, reducing inflammation, and rebuilding its barrier function.
For this reason, I schedule Microneedling appointments after 5 PM and recommend no products, water, or topical application for at least 24 hours following treatment. This allows the skin to complete the initial phases of its healing cascade without interruption or interference.
Expect to use gentle products with no actives and SPF for 2-3 days post tx before resuming normal routine.
